Thwart an underground invasion with your transforming weaponry. The ground is scarred by craters, a reminder of the recent Dalaus invasion. And continuous acid rains give the sky an eerie irridescence. You are the only Transbot pilot left from the now defunct regime. So you must battle wave after wave of orbiting debris. To try to get to the notorious Dalaus artificial intelligence computer. Fortunately, your astro-plane can go through 6 different transformations. Turn into a robot warrior and more. By the time you transform, you should be able to penetrate the fortress of Dalaus. And rid the galaxy of her evil influence forever!

Deadline for high scores is July 21, 2011. Start on the default difficulty level, do not use continues.

This seems like a pretty ordinary game to me.

This is an Ok repeating shooter. Was available on card only in US, so EU cart required for those using SMSII's. Weapon D needed to enter the underbase, otherwise you just keep going on above.

I was never much for side scrolling shooters. More of a top down kinda guy. Here's what I came up with after 5 or 6 runs. Sorry for the crappy pic. I must a moved some. By the time I noticed, I had closed the game.

Gotta use "D" to advance in the game though, otherwise the difficulty never increases...
Weapon "C" is the most fun by far. :D Looks like I'll need more than a token-play this round. ;)

I can't get any letter on demand lol. I did go underground once and kill the little AT-ST. When I got back on top, even though I was unable to get "D" again, the patterns of the ships kept changing. That's eventually what killed me. Not sure what you mean by not getting harder. Those patterns were crazy at times!

Sad thing is, this game can be "looped" in 5min. :( Every time you go below and beat the boss, the enemies on topside change patterns a little and shoot back more. I used to be pretty good a hitting the right letters. I'm a bit out of practice now.
If you have weapon "D" when you get to the 3 stationary "mines", "D" will destroy them. This lets you into the underbase. :)

I'm going to have to dig out my Power Base Converter for this round… as well as my ol' Genesis (I've been using the X'Eye for my Genesis games playing)

I went into the under base twice. I can't seem to land "D" on command. I have noticed the enemies keep progressing with or without going underground. I had the zig zag guys show up before I went under the 2nd time.

Don't use Rapid fire on this one. It drains special weapons far too quick.

147,340. Made it into the underground base (and killed the AT-AT thing). Probably going to call it a day with this score.

I know the game is over with, but I just have to post my all time high score to show you how BAD you guys are at this game... 5,503,040, while no one here even broke 200k.... tsk tsk...
You should check out the Highscore club over at the Sega 8 Bit forums of which I am a member http://shinobiman.pr...gi?board=scores, puts the scores for most of the games in this forum to shame, but then this IS an Atari Fan site, not a Sega Fan site...
