Atariboy
With 22 tables in season 1 and 20 tables in season 2 (Tales of the Arabian Nights, Pinball Arcade's freebie for demo purposes, reappears for the 20th table), I hope if this continues for a 3rd iteration, that it's a combined season 3 & 4 release. 10 tables each is going to seem like a pretty small lineup after these first two releases. Wouldn't even mind it being priced higher, just to have it all consolidated on one disc.

Andromeda Stardust
That reminds me, I need to plug my Ouya back up and get updating. I'm missing out on Addams Family and i'm a backer.
ComputerSpaceFan
I just got a bunch of iTunes gift cards recently and am toying with the notion of purchasing the iOS versions of the tables I have on my PS3. How big in megabytes is a typical table? If I get all the tables am I going to be bloating Pinball Arcade up to a gigabyte or more? My iPod Touch only has so much room left these days. I think the Ouya version is comparable to android. I haven't checked lately but I have all tables so far and there's not quite a Gig of content on my TPA install. I may need to stick a 32Gb Flash drive up it's butt to upgrade the paltry 8Gb at some point though. I did the same with a 128Gb PNY USB3.0 flash drive for my Wii-U, which was not a cheap upgrade but well worth it. Wrote it off as a school expense... Atariboy
A year has now gone by since Farsight announced that they had secured a new publisher for the Xbox 360 version and had submitted all previously released tables to Microsoft for new approval. And something strange seems to be happening with the PS3 and the Vita build. Six tables behind is more than I think I've ever seen it.
Austin
Yeah, FarSight's a joke. To not expect anything is about as much as you can expect from them.
HammR25
The PC DirectX 11 patch is now in open beta on Steam. http://pinballarcadefans.com/showthread.php/10003-DX11-Public-Beta-Now-Available Sorry RT, my slight thread bump brings no Xbox 360 news. Lighting is adjusted per table and it's a slider, not 3 presets like on the PS4 and XBone. Right now fullscreen doesn't work unless it's windowed fullscreen. I couldn't get portrait to work either. The pictures below are on the darkest setting. If you click on the pictures below it'll bring up the fullsized pic.
S1500
Yeah, FarSight's a joke. To not expect anything is about as much as you can expect from them. They may have some flaws here & there, but so far they are bringing the tables to the platform(s). Yes, I wish the 360 was riding the new table train, but we can't have everything. When I first got the disc, I did wish they would make more tables, to further fuel the desire. And they did.
Andromeda Stardust
And that Wii-U logo was still on their site, last I checked. I'm beginning to see how neglected the XB360 fans feel. I really need to plug my Ouya back in to download the updates. Pinball's about the only thing I play on it.

I like most of the S4 tables and was happy that they were offering the season pass at the start of the season again... so I spent the $30 just before Christmas. PS3 still only has Phantom of the Opera and Vita has nothing for S4 yet. They've been promising a four table PS3/Vita release for weeks and still nothing. Farsight disappoints... again.
HammR25
The Pinball Arcade is back out on the Xbox 360.........kinda. There are new tables you can buy but you can't play them until another title update hits first. Apparently when Farsight sent in the new DLC and title update Microsoft only released the DLC but not the title update that would make all the new DLC work. Looks like it has Season 1 and Season 2 bundles and some other random tables from Seasons 3 and 4 but no Season 3 or Season 4 packs. Edit: Apparently there's a Season 3 Pass but it's also titled "Season 2 Pass". I guess this means now they can um.....work on the Wii-U version.
Atariboy
I'm surprised I thought they were just stringing people along, until they tired and gave up asking about it. Didn't see the logic in that, but I don't understand why this took so long to happen, either.

Andromeda Stardust
That's FarSight for you. About as redundant as blaming the late Steve Jobs for the iWatch poor battery life.
+FujiSkunk
The joke is rather poorly timed, sure. You can't even blame Steve Ballmer for Microsoft's ills anymore. Still, I think their point is made. Getting anything released on consoles nowadays is a Herculean effort. Throw in a distributor who goes belly up without properly transferring whatever hooks they have in the process, and a first party focusing more on their latest console than on their previous generation console, and it's easy to see why something like this took so long. I say kudos to Farsight for sticking with it to the bitter end. As they like to say on another forum I frequent, "Licensing is hard." So is publishing. boog
PS3/Vita are supposed to get four table packs (32-35) on Friday. PSN usually updates on Tuesdays, but apparently Farsight is 'special' and want to play by their own rules...

To quote the Starcraft 2 marine "it's about time" We're like eight or nine tables behind iOS at this point. I know the poor WiiU folks and 360 folks have bigger complaints than me but I just wonder is FarSight even supporting PS3 anymore?
Atariboy
If they offer their packages on the Wii U, I might re-buy. Maybe. (A big friggin' maybe). If they were retail releases, I'd support them. But between Nintendo's DRM and Farsight's history, I can't see ever supporting downloads of Pinball Arcade on the Wii U on the off chance it ever actually appears. It will inevitably remain a low priority for them, and when I can get something tied to an account instead of a console, I may as well go that route. Not like Pinball Arcade is a case like Mega Man 9, for a rare multiplatform download that I went with the Nintendo option. The more restrictive DRM was a worthwhile trade-off for a Nintendo quality d-pad.
Austin
Just got an email notification about the TZ and STTNG ports for 360. Since that's the platform I chose when backing both of those Kickstarters, I obviously never received the tables. I was finally able to get my download codes for these and am looking forward to registering them when the product goes live tomorrow.
