Rev
I want to get a 7800, i have never played one....ever!!!! What are your top 20 (or 10) that are FUN TO PLAY. .....including homebrews. I am not worried about getting any rare games for it, i want one to play and also since it plays 2600 games is another good reason.(less machines to have hooked up) Thanks! Hydro Thunder
I'm shocked by the lack of love for Crossbow! You guys is crazy! Dauber
Hmm.....don't think I've even PLAYED 20 7800 games. Let's see....in no particular order: Pac-Man Collection!, of course (Wait....was the POKEY one actually released as a cartridge!?) Super Pac-Man Jr. Pac-Man (can you tell I'm a Pac-Man fan?) Food Fight (seriously, this is SUCH a must-have for the 7800 that I consider it an honorary pack-in!) Scramble Crossbow Beef Drop B*nk Asteroids Ballblazer Robotron 2084 There are others I like but don't necessarily LOVE - the Donkey Kong games, Dig Dug, the original Ms. Pac-Man (Bob seriously improved that sucker, though)... And one game I absolutely HATE: Tower Toppler. It's just not playable. Great graphics, but man....it's freakin' impossible. To this day I can't get past the second screen, yet I played it all the time on the C-64 and had zero problems getting pretty far...
Jinks
I can not believe no one likes Motor Psycho It has hills and has way more to it than pole position, with a hack it could get better sound more gears and so on... The 7800 needs another good racing game. Also like Scramble Moon Cresta Dig dug Food fight Double Dragon is ok.. Centipede Ikari Warriors Water Ski Ninja Golf Those are some of the ones that come to mind, all of which I own and play on cart. Never really liked Pac man games but will buy all of Bob's Pac creations once he releases them such as Ms. Pac Man Pokey, Pac Man 320 Pokey and so on...
