Any joystick or keyboard is fine! Pics are encoraged here, however I WILL accept a no pic score. Anyone can jump in and play for a High Score and Ranking, if they like... Every score will be counted for the High Score Challenge also, even if you're not entered in the Winter 2600 Knockout. Everyone starts each game with a score of ZERO, one goal is to get above 0... or get a high score, if you don't you will be eliminated and the lowest score earned of the active KO players, is safe! A KING status will be awarded at the end of every round winner, as well as rankings and points. First place gets +15 points! From there on, 1+ less... For the K.O., you need not win, just not finish LAST! Let the battle begin... THIS GAME IS ALSO OPEN FOR HIGH SCORE CLUB POINTS AND RANKING! Last weeks' prediction was slightly off. I said that 26K would be the low score and we could maybe could see a score of 15K from someone. Well this is how the bottom 5 looked: 06+ - 25,160 - DT Kofoed 10th 05+ - 24,300 - Fallout_002 11th 04+ - 23,320 - classicgamer_27330 12th 03+ - 21,530 - LarcenTyler 13th 02+ - 10,450 - Cortat G 14th I was 5K off. Cortat G dodn't have a lot of time to spend on the game so his score was the low score I thought could happen. But 5k lower than predicted. Players needed to spend some time with this game to get good and it showed. The 3 top scores were once again impressive: 15+ - 56,760 - Gorfy 1st 14+ - 54,980 - oyamafamily 2nd 13+ - 50,380 - Jifremok 3rd Did anyone make it to the end of level 2? Great job if you did. If you have never played this weeks game, it will also take some time to get a good score. Kung-Fu Master Personally I hate fighting games. From Double Dragon to Motal Kombat to Super Smash. I hate them all. So I will predict that my score will be close to the bottom this week. This is one game I cannot play well. So, just like the last two weeks, practice is needed. The low score will be 52K with the possibility of someone getting a nice low score of 28K. I will get around 52K and someone else without much time to practice will get 28K. Good Luck. Lather, rinse, repeat. Alternatively, you can try crouching outside his kicking range and try punching his gut, but this doesn't always work. -For the boomerang thrower, he's vulnerable while he's thrown a boomerang. While it's in the air, rush in and punch him. -For the giant kicker, try to kneel just outside his range of kicking and throw low blows. -On the fourth floor, you encounter the moths. DON'T (I repeat, don't TRY TO RUN THROUGH THEM! You'll take a lot of damage, and you need as much energy as possible for the lightning wizard. -The Lightning Wizard is very difficult. You have to punch him in the stomach. Any other attacks won't work. Wait for him to attack, then rush in unload on him. If you have enough energy, you should survive his lightning bolts. -The Gang Leader (OK, Mr. X) is just as tough as on other consoles. He can attack just like you. Wait for him to attack and watch for patterns, then rush in and strike him with a high kick or a body blow. I'm now more ticked at this game cause A) boomerang throwers take at least a half of a second break between throwing their boomerangs (and don't have 3 different positions the boomerang can be) B) Knife guys can NOT throw NINE (9!) knives in 3.5 seconds... it's not supposed to happen in this game. C) Knife guys are not programmed to go in for a hug to suck life away, their job is to hang on the outsides and try to knife you.
