Launch your ABM's and switch back to the U.S. map. Subs sighted off the Florida coast! Send your sub patrols on a search and destroy mission. Level 7 - 2,980,000

Since we can play at any skill level...how is this going to be scored?

I think it's going to be by highest score, as usual. The higher the skill level the more points you can get. Cities are the most points and they are 3 million times the skill level.

the scoring breakdown for War Games:

incoming missile = 10,000

enemy sub = 50,000

enemy jet = 50,000

If there's a cease-fire, each saved base is 1,000,000 points (26 total bases). Each saved city is 3,000,000 points times the skill level (21 total cities).

approximate maximum score per skill level:

level 1 = 91 million

level 2 = 154 million

level 3 = 217 million

level 4 = 281 million

level 5 = 345 million

level 6 = 408 million

level 7 = 471 million

level 8 = 534 million

Is there any reason these games end at 1 a.m. EST on Saturday? On days I'm not thinking straight (which is most of the time), that messes me up because I'm thinking it ends on Saturday, but in reality since I'm on the west coast it ends at 10 p.m. Friday.

Yep I hear ya. My problem is that if a round ends on a Monday (i.e assume you mean end of Sunday) that I then have to post a new game on the Monday which is difficult for me due to work demands. The way it is at the moment I can get a new game done on Saturday morning. Nevertheless, I'll consider a change - I could pre-prepare the next game on a Saturday and then I just simply have to post it on the Monday. I'll add the end day to one of my polls when I set them up. "I'm listening".

What you're doing now works OK, I just tend to forget and think I'm going to have one last shot at playing on Saturday only to remember the game is already over...perhaps you could move it somewhere between 3-6 p.m. Saturday EST...that would at least give us west coasters a chance to get out of bed and give it one last shot. 3 p.m. EST might be good - 12 p.m. PST

In any case, no big deal...I'll adjust eventually. I made myself a score sheet for all the HSC's I'm in and put down the name of the game, level & other game specifics, and end date and time.
