riffraff
I remember back when I bought this, 15+ years ago.. it was considered pretty rare. I can't seem to find any information on it searching with google. I just listed it 10 minutes ago and it already has a bid: Falcon Console new in the box - Atari 2600 clone If anybody has more information about this console, I'd appreciate it. Dino
Its a no-brainer taht this is a Jr clone. There are literally dozens of these clones out there. They are worth more if they are NTSC and if there are unreleased roms built in then you are on a winner
riffraff
I think it might have roms in it, I'm not sure if they're unreleased. I wanted to avoid hooking it up but I might have to.
nofrills100
Quirky item - fantastic condition. Jahfish would no doubt be keen if he hasn't already got it.
Dino
You'd be better off testing the unit to confirm whether it is ntsc or not, whether it in fact works or not and whether there are any unreleased roms or not. the fact that there is no factory seal means there really isn't much value in the fact that this hasn't been opened before.
riffraff
Yeah I'll do that sometime tonight with other hookups. I'm pretty sure it's NTSC.
Pioneer4x4
I like the name/logo on it. But I'll pass on this Shipping: $41.55 Or is that international shipping?
riffraff
Shipping shouldn't be that much. I'll double-check to verify the weight is right. I'm pretty sure this is under 4 pounds.
riffraff
ARGH! The shipping is listed at 13 pounds. Only way to fix this is to relist it now that there's a bid. *smashes head into desk* Edit: relisted, the new listing will show up at 6pm PST today (Friday). (When I first read this post, I thought you meant 13 British Pounds, then I realized, that would still only be about $20 (I think))

The item before that must have been the 45 intv games =) Anyways I re-listed it. I'll get a chance to test it soon. Hopefully I can tell if it's NTSC or not. +Andrew Davie
How is this not a contravention of "no eBay auctions in this forum"? This thread belongs in marketplace!
riffraff
*sadface* Well at least I didn't post a link to the relisted item. I was just trying to figure out if anyone knew anything more about this, not gain additional exposure for a sale.
Pioneer4x4
That is how I took it, just for info. Anyway, I still think it is a cool logo
atariluvr77
well the auction is ending soon and I still don't see any information iether here or on ebay regarding the NTSC or ROM situation....
atariluvr77
Ha, the seller cancelled everyones bid and ended the auction... I think it was up around $35 when it was pulled. I guess he thinks it's really rare or something... Theres probably atleast 30 different 2600 clones floating around.
nofrills100
Well it is rare... But rare clone does not always equal high value. This thread has been a great waste of time for all involved.
CPUWIZ
Well it is rare... It is that, I have never seen one before, period. But rare clone does not always equal high value. I guess that depends on how you measure value. This thread has been a great waste of time for all involved. Except from the guy/gal who won it, if they read this. I'd agree - except that the seller cancelled the listing.... again My apologies - I take my last posts back... I thought you said that he cancelled it Atariluvr77? It seems it did sell for $61. Not bad. Edited May 22, 2012 by nofrills100
atariluvr77
I guess I was looking at the original cancelled auction... the link at the beginning of the post. I did not follow the auction so didn't realize it was relisted... there are too many clones out there to start trying to buy them all... $61 is a good deal I suppose, I've never see one iether... the everyday 4 switch ataris in the box go for more than that and you see them continuously... Crazy Climber
And it would look sweet next to an atari falcon computer!!
