TurboGrafx-16 Imports played on NSTC?

Hi all,

 

I saw some games for the TG16 and they said imports from Japan on ebay.

Does anyone here know if the North American TG16 plays imports from Japan without any special modifications?

Can I just purchase Japanese games and play them on my TG16?

Check PCEnginefx.com for alot of info and inside-scoops on mods for the TG-16

 

 

Especially the chopsado. It costs about 5$ and lets you play imports...

 

There are some people there at PCEngineFX.com that do modifications all the time, and are very good about it, and very reasonable about prices.

I used to get PC Engine games all the time to play on my Turbografx. I just had a cheapo plastic converter thingy. Worked fine enough.

I'm tellin you dude, just make one of these lol. It's like, 2-5$ in parts, and about an hour of effort, if that. Depends on fidgety you are.

 

 

 

Or ask a PCEFX mod-dude to do it. BlueBMW would probably charge less than half of what you'd pay to get a converter, and it'll look 10000000x nicer!
