Introducing the official Intellivision Serial Number Database. This will be a user submitted database. The information will added to the database weekly. The database will include all major console variations and accessories. Feel free to add your serial numbers in your free time. Any suggestions reguarding the database are welcome.

Cool. Man is this going to take a looooong time. :)

Maybe you could do drop down lists for each tab so that things will be standardized?

I was planning on changing the whole layout already, How about when you go to the main database page there will be a sub menu list of all consols and accessories that you click on to view each on indiviually. the submission form will remain on the main database page. Is that what you meant?

I meant on the submission page when you went to enter your info you would choose your console or accessory from a drop down menu, that way the entries would all be the same. You could do the same for the condition status, (NIB, CIB, loose with manual, loose) sort of thing as opposed to people entering their own random descriptions.

You could list the PAL vs NTSC variations for these as well. (Brown ECS, brown Synth, etc)

Check out the submission menu now. Is that what you had in mind? Any other options anyone can think of?

I think I have the structure pretty much done now. You guys let me know if this will work and if it looks fine.

I will start adding serial numbers as they come in.

The first Serial Number has come in. Thanks Intymike!

Do I need separate sections for Pal/German/other countries? Or just throw them all in there together?

I think the different countries issue could be addressed in the comments section.

I would add the consoles and accessories as dropdowns on the new box you just added, that way it would be standardized.

Yessss, first! :)

I was that fast with the first entry because this console stands on the table in my living room (right behind my computer) to play DIIK.

I have come across multiple mis matched serial numbers. Should I make a menu option for 'box serial number' and 'matching serial numbers' ?

Wouldn't that qualify as loose ? I mean for auditing purposes of course !
