memugking
I picked up a copy of Superman from a local pawn shop today for FREE, if you can believe it. I checked the rarity guides & can't find it. Unless I'm missing something. Can someone help me determine approximate value & rarity? See Photo

Zwackery
Ignore the deranged hermit. Sears Picture label Superman is insanely rare. Like a 10. Congrats!
gorfcadet
Ugh! So jealous! I'm a comic nerd and an Atari lifer so that to me is the best pickup! A rare that is worth playing! Of the Sears pic labels I believe Supes is one of if not the hardest to find!
Zwackery
It is so hard to find that when the first one was discovered many people thought it was a fake.
memugking
Thanks for the assistance guys. The pic is of the cart. I really hope it isn't a fake.
Cebus Capucinis
It's fake. But since I'm such a nice guy I'll buy it from you for double what you paid for it! That's how you know it's rare, people will try to rip you off! What a good score! Congrats!
Zwackery
Thanks for the assistance guys. The pic is of the cart. I really hope it isn't a fake. I don't think it's fake. Several have been found, so it is accepted as real (sometimes gratingly so by collectors who thought they had completed Sears). You can use the Forum search function to find more info, just search Sears Superman Picture Label. A quick search turned up an auction for one on eBay back in 2005 that went for $711. YMMV. Crazy Climber
Odd that you actually caught the difference in the label variation (Sears/picture) most non collectors would just assume it's the common Superman and not think twice. Either that was an awesome catch on your part, or you are just a current member messing with us, I think you are Cebus, and now I am going to wedgie Cebus even harder... memugking
I have no reason to mess with anyone. I have the red Atari text version of Superman & I have a few Sears games, so I had to question when I noticed other versions of the game that said "game cartridge". I have some Taiwan Cooper games in my collection. Again, I had to question it since I know repros sell on ebay. Assuming it's real, I'm glad you guys/gals were able to assist. Pioneer4x4
Nice game of clay SMB you got going on there too. I agree, I think I remember someone a couple years ago making mini consoles like that, sound familiar to anyone?
memugking
Look, I have a FB page. Look me up. Joe Wade. That console was made by my wife and I in 2008. Thanks, hater.
CPUWIZ
Why is anyone on this guys case? Just because he has a rare cart, he is asking about? At least this isn't some bullshit like Red Sea Homebrew.
memugking
Damn, I wish I could do quality clay work like that. We were shocked to get the SMB3 to print and not smear. Didn't know anyone else did this. I'm jealous. http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&source=mog&hl=en&gl=us&client=ms-android-att-us&tab=wi&q=clay%20video%20game%20consoles&sa=N&biw=533&bih=

Thanks, hater. huh? that was not an insult or hate or anything? I was ONLY asking if it reminded anyone of someone making small consoles. geeze, I actually liked it, and was trying to find other posts with them in it. And if it is on FB it must be true? homerwannabee
As far as price is concerned I think it's worth at least $500, and I think I am being conservative.
