DemonoidTentacle
I came across a couple of PS2 games that caught my eye today at a 2nd hand store. They were Shining Force EXA and Samurai Champloo Sidetracked. What is different about them to normal PS2 games is that they're not packaged like other PS2 games. At the top it reads PlayStation 2 EXPERIENCE and has a PS2 symbol with a penguin wearing a scarf. At first I thought they were just some pirate games, but then I noticed on the read side of the disc it reads Shining Force EXA USA PS2 DVD, which could have only been done if this disc was purposefully made for this game, and a normal pirate disk wouldn't be like that, right? Anyone come across these before?
Mord
Might be the disc is legit but the packaging was printed off to up resale value? (Rather than selling a disc-only thing.) My own copy of Shining Force EXA is pretty standard looking to other games at any rate.
Gabriel
A quick google search revealed as the second available link a Gamestyle feature about an event called Playstation 2 Experience. http://gamestyle.com...xperience-2003/ It's difficult to tell because the article is rambling and presented as a single mega-paragraph, but the Playstation 2 Experience seems to have been an annual consumer event where new games were showed off and sold. My guess is that you have some special packaging made for one of those events. Edited September 15, 2012 by Gabriel
DemonoidTentacle
One thing that I have just noticed examining the disc up against one of my other legit games is that the Experience disc doesn't have the PS logos on the read side of the disc.
