PSN Store is a mess

Yeah.

my ps3 is only good for netlix these days.

Then, just to start netflix, I had to waste a bunch of time downloading the update that ruined the store (and closed up some security holes no doubt)

I hope ps3 will get better once they abandon it and it gets hacked, but I have such bad memories of this system, and I doubt I'm the only one. Good luck selling me a ps4, losers.

I have one of those android mini computers on order. If the netflix interface is better than ps3's I doubt it will ever get turned on again.

i hadn't actually seen the new store when I commented earlier. I didn't realize there actually was something different since I'd seen the store within the past week. My comments were directed at the old store. I actually like the new one compared to the old store. I think it uses the screen better and I like all the different filters that can be used. I haven't tried searching yet though so maybe I'll get annoyed at that. Something that annoys me on the 360 and will annoy me here as well is I wish I could filter out all the music addons when going to the addon menu. I get tired of flipping past 50 Guitar Hero songs.

If I had to guess, this is some kind of change for vita/touch screens. It's more 'mobile' looking than before.

I tried the filters and did have a bit of luck. My problem was that it seemed that I could only apply one at a time. Maybe I need to look harder. Using filters and ads, I did manage to find bits and pieces of a couple things that I wanted to see (Dust 514 and the new 'Supercar' game) but then I had to use the search feature with their names just to find 'the goods' on them.

I guess I'll get in on this bitch-fest. :)

I have a Vita and downloaded some free television show trailers. For those of you who haven't played the Vita yet, it has a wonderful screen, argueably the most detailed and vibrent ever. But the TV shows (at least the trailers) are in a really crappy resolution, almost like the 1st gen DVDs that really looked like shit (for example season one of Curb Your Enthusiam on DVD). One would think that the multimedia content would capitalize on the state of the art OLED screen.

By the way, the DSi/3DS store is 10 times worse; totally disorganised and a downright pain to navigate. At least you can find stuff easily on Vita's store.

Good god...I just tried to navigate through the PSN store and its a mess.

I wonder if big bright buttons and tablet imitation really does help. WTF Sony........

(Someone got paid for this "design")

I'd have to agree with your opinion. It's a pain in the ass trying to find my way through the store even when I know what I'm looking for (And know that it's there.)

of course I have other gripes about the overall OS layout for the PS3. :P Such as if you buy one of hte mini games that have installers, the installers stay in the list along with the installed version of it. And of course the installed version, the version you play, is further down the list.

Eh, I only turn on the silly thing once every week or two anyway so I guess I can live with it.
