twh/f2
Howdy *.*! Can we create a complete list of Microprose games, ported to the xl/xe machines? Here my list I can remember: * Solo Flight * F-15 Strike Eagle * Kennedy Approach * Silent Service * Crusade of Europe (?) * Gunship (?) * ... I wanna complete my disk-based Microprose collection. But not all titles are easy to find, so I could look out for the c64 boxed-version and reformat the disk with the atari version. Are there any differences to the box contents?? Nukey Shay
One interesting thing about MicroProse is that current and upcoming titles are sometimes mentioned on the boot screens of the games (Solo Flight and F15 I remember had this). Perhaps try loading them into an emu to find out more?
Goochman
Floyd of the Jungle and Hellcat Ace were some of Sid early 8bit efforts. FLyod has some addictive qualities to it
Callipygous
* Crusade of Europe (?) Yes, I've seen it. * Gunship (?) Unconfirmed. Some claim it came out. Would add these: Conflict In Vietnam Decision In The Desert Mig Alley Ace Nato Commander
Jetboot Jack
As an ex-microprose employee I can give you some heads up on the rumored titles - Gunship, Pirates, Airbourne Ranger and F19 although advertised were NOT developed for the XL/XE range... sTeVE

The situation was that they did a 48K version in order to include 800 owners, but apparently they were not satisfied with it. Well thats the story I heard anyway. Jetboot Jack
Acrojet and Gunship (plus the others) were anounced, but not produced - they were to be ports of the C64 versions, nothing was ever taken further than a press release - believe me I spoke to many. many collegues at MPS and that was their take on those games... sTeVE
Nukey Shay
The F15 manual that I have is dated 1986...though it might be second edition (because it includes a couple Gulf conflicts about that time).
