ATARI STE rackmount case

Hi all, long time Atari user here and first time poster.

I still have sitting in my recording studio my trusty Atari STE that still gets used for midi sequencing and other such applications. However, ideally I would like to get this Atari installed into a rack-mountable case.

I understand that there used to be a few companies that have produced purpose made cases for the Atari computers over the years (Such as the Space Case by Lighthouse) with all the necessary holes etc pre-cut, connection for external keyboard etc and was wondering if anyone here knows of anywhere/one that may be able to help me source such a case?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for all the replies so far, much appreciated.

I still haven't had any luck locating a case for my Atari, all possible leads have unfortunately become dead ends. Anyone here know of any dealers of retro computing that could be worth contacting on the off chance that they happen to have such a case laying around?

You might look around for a Falcon Rack, manufactured by Wizztronics some years ago. Steve had a supply left over after the Atari development side of the company closed. Their PC orientated website still exist, maybe drop an email ATTN To: Steve Cohen. He was the master mind and brought a lot of cool Atari related products to market. Maybe there is a Falcon Rack still sitting in back. The ST board is so close, someone handy (what Atarian isn't?) could easily fit the ST in the the Rack.

Retro Computing Dealers? I think all Atarians take it to the grave :)

I've got my Falcon060 in a Wizztronics case. They are very nice. If you can find one, I

also think you could adapt any ST motherboard to it. The Falcon's motherboard just

sits on standoffs, after all.

You can go to the Atari section at my website to see my Falcon in that case. Should

give you some idea...

HTHs.
