[Deteacher]

We're starting the new season with an oldie but a goodie (Hey, aren't they all?)    The game is Dig Dug!

Dig tunnels underground and use an air pump to inflate and blow-up your enemies. You can also drop rocks on your foes. Dislodge two rocks and a bonus fruit or vegetable will appear in the center of the screen. A level ends when all the enemies have been destroyed.

NOTES ABOUT ROMS:  MAME romsets are now specific to the version of MAME.  It's possible that the ROM in the  link above may not work, depending on the version of MAME you have.  Consider my ROM location to me more of a "jumping off point" for you.  If this does not work for you, you will have to look for a correct ROM on your own.  Feel free to help others out in their search for a working ROM.

SCORING  1st place will get 15 points, 2nd place, 14pts, etc. etc. etc.  Screenshots are not required for submitting scores, but it would be nice to see a screenshot for verification.

BONUS CHALLENGE:  Remove all the dirt on any level to receive 3 bonus points!  Must provide screenshot to receive bonus points.

I just got home from work...let me fire up my cab and find out what the factory default setting is.  I'll get back to you on that.

EDIT:  Just checked the settings on my machine.  Here's what came up:

Difficulty:  Easy
Bonus Lives:  10K, 40K and every 40K
Starting Lives:  3

I've updated this in the first post.  We'll play with these settings.  In the future, I'll try to put the dip switch settings in the OP.  This will be a learning experience for me, so please bear with me.

I don't get much time to play, but I'm going to do my best to keep up with you guys!  

NIKON, make sure you have the correct dip switch settings.  Bonus lives at 10K, 40K and every 40K thereafter.  From your screenshot, it looks like you've got it set to only 10K and 40K.

The screen colors change every 4-5 levels.  Those are the correct colors for round 7.
