Atari8bitCarts
Our basement is almost complete, it's been under construction for about 5 months. It was unfinished and now gives us about 1300 sqft more space! The Atari area is mine of course and my wife thinks I'm crazy. This will give you a look at a couple rooms, and some of my items I've been collecting for about 15 years now. The Atari 400 was my first computer to code on back in 1983. I just built a new wall cabinet to house 400+ cartridges. My claim to fame is my obsession with pitfalljones' (http://www.pitfalljones.com) virtual collection in which I've attempted to collect all of the carts. His site doesn't have all, by most. I have more than listed. My cabinet houses 320 unique Atari 8-bit carts. On the top I showcase a few favorites. Other unique item is the German EPROM burner. I show my work area. My healthy duplicate cart collection, for trading, etc. And I have a ton of misc items, crates of disks, etc. Many 1200's, 800's, 400', 800xl's, etc. And most of the Atarimax items, these things are fantastic! The Whiz Kid poster is an original from German show in the 80's. The Atari banner is also from a show. I built the Donkey Kong (my favorite) and Galaga machine (my wife's) from the ground up using a centipede half cabinet design. It has a 20inch arcade LCD, etc. Edited August 10, 2013 by chrislynn5
