GI Joe: Cobra Strike

Right Difficulty: B

Man vs Snake

‘Post a Pic x 2’

Post a pic of any snake from any Atari 2600 game. Do not use GI Joe: Cobra Strike.

Then

Post a pic of any man/woman from any Atari 2600 game except for the Joes from this game.

Now this where the action begins.

Describe to us who wins the battle!

Notes:

~ you cannot use the same ‘combo’ as someone else.

~ you cannot have the snake and the man/woman from the same game. (Snake cannot be from game A and Man/Woman cannot be from game A)

You can use the same snake as someone else just don't match it up with the same Man/Woman

(Example: Pic of a snake from game A. Pic of a Man/Woman from game B. The (snake or man) wins because blah, blah, blah).

Got it

Bonus

VS.

The chef in pressure cooker vs. the snake in frogger.

Chef wins without knowing that he, in his hurry, cooked the snake and put it in a hamburger. Lucky him as his clients didn't note the different meat and accepted it well.

Now that is funny :rolling:

VS.

post-27900-0-97481300-1382186894_thumb.jpg

Farmer Dan (from "Gopher") thought his difficulties were over when he got rid of all the gophers. Unfortunately for him, an irresponsible pet owner imported a snake from Egypt (i.e. "Tutankham") and promptly lost him. Before Farmer Dan could utter the word "dagnabbit", his farm was overrun by a horde of horny Egyptian snakes that were descendents of the great snake from the grave of Tutankham. Completely overwhelmed with despair, Farmer Dan turned his mighty hoe upon himself and committed harakiri.

This game is the worst ever. Very unresponsive. I'm sure karokoenig will have a blast, though.

You may be much mistaken, actually. I am away from my console and cart, so I have to play this with a mouse on emulator. Still fun, but I'm not sure if I can get used to the mouse control. We'll see...

Anyway, let's get on the board: 5,910.

Here's my bonus combo: The snake is, of course, the snake from "Smurfs - Rescue at Gargamel's castle". One of my dearest childhood games, with a badass superfast snake. That snake, however, will find its master in no other than BOBBY, who I call Bobby Badass. What you choose to call Hell, he calls Home - and you bet your ass he's gonna go there! He, contrary to the blue fellows, can change direction in mid-jump. Bobby shows physics the one-finger salute (Mario just stole the idea from him). Badass. Also, he can stand in-game music that's even more annoying than the one from the blue guy's game. Bad. Ass.

Indiana Jones from Raiders of the Lost Ark vs. The cobra from Pitfall! Not much of an epic battle. The snake appears in front of Indy, he freaks, then curls up into a ball. The snake shoots venom into Indy and he dies.

post-34560-0-26402100-1382397284_thumb.jpg i got a bonus

wow I have never figured out how to play this game until now. I always thought it was just Terrible. now I can see it is a pretty good game, and better than Picnic! of course, being from Parker Bros that should be obvious.

Man vs. Snake: A Western

Roscoe the sweaty lady-killing Stampede rustler was winning too much. Something had to be done.

post-34560-0-69037200-1382398038_thumb.png

The local rodeo gamblers knew of a travelling hustler known on the streets as "Joe." He had been peddling deadly South American reptiles post-34560-0-16326900-1382398335_thumb.jpg on the streets of Sao Paulo. Whispering words were spoken. A few solemn phone calls and a vicious, viperous man-biter named Diego was well on its way to Texas...

The snake knew what to do.

First he attacked the legs of the horse. Then he bited his time as he watched with glee the agonized bouncing of his first victim, awaiting its inevitable collapse.

But this serpent wasn't from Texas.

His dreams turned to nightmares when his lower half was pounded into the dirt by stampeding dogies. A cloud of dust rose up. The cowboy landed firmly on both feet as his trusty steed crashed to it's death. He noticed in the corner of his eye a shady gambler slinking away in the crowd.

The rustler fired his lasso, no longer caring about the HSC -- there was a new score to settle here. Diego's life flashed before his eyes. Caught about the neck, he felt himself yanked back and zooming through the air at the fleeing bad guy. His mission was a bust, and so was he. There was only one guy left to bite -- the one who decieved him. The one who didn't tell him about the dogies.

The rustler's aim was true, and the killer flew fangs first into the gambler's backside.

Roscoe glanced around. A man, a snake, and a horse were finished. A few young ladies hoped for his attention. The dust settled. It was time for a steak.
