Underground_Robot
Hi, I was a bit bored today, so I just slapped this post on AtariAge. I like alot of Atari 2600 homebrews. I just thought this would be an interesting topic. Edited January 5, 2014 by Underground_Robot

LidLikesIntellivision
To be honest, it's being difficult to make these lists. I keep changing my favorite games all the time. There are already many great homebrew games to fill different gaming needs. Anyway, here comes my list: Thrust (challenging and addictive) Boulder Dash (deep game with many levels) Princess Rescue (It's him in an Atari) Toyshop Trouble (addictive, resembles pressure cooker) Juno First (great gameplay, graphics and music!) Medieval Mayhem (best multiplayer game) Lady Bug (sorry, but why pacman when we have this awesome game) Chetiry (there's always a time for this game) Panky the Panda (hard and impressive platform game) Lead (addictive shooting, great music) Conquest of Mars (ha, to invade another planet, and bomb it all!) Epic Adventure (Much more than Adventure, it's made epic) Haunted House Trilogy (Do you want more adventure? Look for this hack) Berzerk 2 players (new mazes, colors and Atarivox supported) Seaweed Assault (i still have the tentacle's sound in my mind, great sounds!) Space Rocks (If you like Asteroids, this is a much better than Asteroids) All great games I recomend and I know I'm letting some out. For instance, I didn't play Star Fire and it seems another game to include in my list.

LidLikesIntellivision
Depends on my mood. Agreed. That's why I listed many games. And is a great part of why I like Atari 2600 so much. We had many types of games and still have them in homebrews.
+save2600
The quality of homebrews these days are amazing. Been playing a lot of Chetiry, Hack 'em and Space Rocks lately, but Ladybug, Juno First, Thrust and Strat-o-gems are always on the short list. Looking forward to the finished version of Star Castle and Wizard of Wor as well.
Underground_Robot
I do have to take Space Rocks, Juno First, Chetiry, and Thrust into consideration. I am pretty sure everyone has a more than one favorite. Edited January 5, 2014 by Underground_Robot
retrogoober
1. Fall Down 2. Thrust 3. Lead Fall Down has become, IMO the funnest 2P experience on the VCS
RetroFiends
I really can't decide whether I like Halo 2600 or Pac-Man4k the most. I play Pac-Man4k quite a bit more, but the sheer novelty factor of Halo 2600 brings it right up there, too. Halo 2600 is also a great game to have around when you have more modern gamer friends around. They always get a kick out of it, guaranteed. grownup
I only have a couple of them, one of which is Princess Rescue. It not only my favorite homebrew, but I think its my favorite videogame for any and all Atari systems I have! Its very well done. I have not had the time to beat it yet, but plan to sme day. My second fav game is the original Adventure, so I hope to purchase Adventure II for the 5200 and other homebrew adventure games for the 2600 that have come out as well.
