My slogan gets trashed every time I change my status (suggestion)

I realise I'm using it wrong. I treat my status in my profile as a slogan. People come see it. They take in my description and see what I'm about.

 

A catchy one line like the status update keeps it fun and simple. A kind of sub-title to my avatar. A sig really can't be used like that as that's that you see in posts and not your profile page. I'd rather topic lurkers click on the games I made and get interested in batari BASIC.

 

My suggestion is to separate the status update on the profile page from the general updates on the right side of the forum proper. Right now I can't use it either way effectively.

Dude, I honestly don't want to say anything, but I just have to...

 

1. You are way too into yourself.

 

2. You have far too much time on your hands if you're that concerned with such things.

 

If you really feel the need to market yourself with a "catchy" personal slogan, just stick in your profile (which is blank at the moment). That's what the "About Me" section is there for.

 

After you're done doing that, go outside and play for a while. Get some fresh air...it'll be good for you.

Unfortunately - despite your deep insight into my psyche - this section is for comments on improving AtariAge. You managed to be both off-topic and derogatory. I don't know what issues in your life caused you to behave this way but I truly hope you get past them. Seeking negative attention (especially in public) can not only ruin relationships with strangers like me but also family and friends.

 

Unless you intend to apologize this need not be discussed further. I appreciate your understanding in this.
