+save2600
You should bring some books to read instead. Highly recommended!
English Invader
If you have the carry case, you can fit twelve games in there and a battery pack. If you use good quality D cell batteries, the battery pack will give you many hours play. I recommend the following games: Rampart Paperboy Toki Roadblasters Chequered Flag California Games Xenophobe Chip's Challenge Crystal Mines II Ms Pac-Man Klax Switchblade II
Atari_afternoon
The sun shield might be useful in the car during daytime I think. Right about the D-cell battery pack. Unless you have twelve (=two sets) rechargeables and a recharger to recharge them during the visit, for the trip home.

I should probably stress that I'm serious about the good quality batteries (Duracell); I've tried the battery pack with discount store D cells and it only lasted a couple of hours before the screen started to go dim. 108 Stars
I think both the car adapter and the Naki Power Pack make much more sense than the original battery pack. Why waste money on batteries when there are great solutions that require none at all? It always surprised me that Atari never released a power pack themselves, everyone and their mom had one for the Game Boy, and Nintendo's handheld had so much longer battery life anyway... it would have made so much sense for the Lynx. LX.NET
Yes, save the environment and take the car adapter. It powers two, so bring a second Lynx plus a comlynx cable and play a good game of Slime World. Edited February 16, 2014 by LX.NET
