Omega-TI
It would be so cool if we could copy this idea of theirs and put out at least one for the TI... << .PDF OF EXAMPLE ISSUE >> Something like this covering a host of topics Some idea could include: How Atari Age is helping keep the TI alive... How eBay helps the isolated TI'er New games New Hardware (and where to get it or the mods) Recent TI History... ... basically it's wide open. Gazoo
You could always read all the Micropendium magazines. There's a wealth of information there. I learned an incredible amount about our beloved TI & Geneve by reading them all cover-to-cover. ftp://ftp.whtech.com/magazines/micropendium/ Gazoo
am1933
Well-I would be delighted to provide an in depth article on Zero Zap, should take about four words.
+hloberg
How about start simple. create a pinned thread here an say call it "TI/99 Monthly for March/April 2014 (yes lame name but what first came to mind)" and have people post articles to it. When months ends, close it. Then create an index, cover and post it somewhere on the web. We could do tutorials, game reviews, survey results, Ti-99 history etc.... just reprinting stuff from Atariage group (if legal) would fill up months. sometimes99er
Retrogaming Times had quite a few TI-99/4A specific articles along the way with their 116 issues (1997-). This January 2014 being the last issue before The Retro Junkies takes over. Appeared more like a blog in the beginning !?http://www.retrogamingtimes.comhttp://www.theretrojunkies.comLooks like a place for hosting a podcast on TI-99/4A, maybe ?http://www.theretrojunkies.com/videogames/gamecastsAnyways, I might do a magazine, or a game, or something else ...
S1500
R http://www.theretrojunkies.com Looks like a place for hosting a podcast on TI-99/4A, maybe ? http://www.theretrojunkies.com/videogames/gamecasts I did do 1 podcast episode dedicated to the TI recently, and Retrobits did a whole ep on it. If someone is to do a dedicated podcast, call it "OLD CS1". Heh

In fact I wish he had the micropendiums on his site like that, because then I could use my Chromecast to view the pages side-by-side on my big screen tv. My old eyeballs are not what they used to be, the bigger the better.

RobertLM78
Envince is nice and lightweight - not bloated like Adobe Reader. I'm pretty sure it does side by side view, as well as full screen.
Omega-TI
If it's a PDF file, Adobe Reader has a side-by-side page display option on the "View" menu. ...lee Yeah, that works, but that makes the characters even smaller as I cannot send it to the Chromecast. It would truly be cool if some of the programmers out there started taking advantage of the Chromecast OUT of the browser environment. I've used the browser version from time to time to send stuff to the big screen, but it's only one page at a time and for some reason the Chromecast times out on a static screen, which is annoying as heck. Envince is nice and lightweight - not bloated like Adobe Reader. I'm pretty sure it does side by side view, as well as full screen. Thanks, I installed it, and it promptly locked up when I tried to print with it for some reason, I had to re-boot to unlock the computer. I noticed it does not have some of the same print features, that I like, especially the ability to print in booklet form. Also, it took over as the primary program, which I thought was rather rude, so I'm back to where I was.
