Facebook post today from Elektronite announcing the cancellation of the DOTC kickstarter and that the new programmer (Syd Bolton) has quit the project.

* Sigh *

I was REALLY looking forward to that one.

Yes, it seems like another cursed project. It would have been another defining moment for homebrew on the platform. Hopefully a new programmer can be commissioned and the Kickstarter can proceed.

Sad news. Hope springs eternal, though, and maybe one day another programmer can come on board.

Well, "personal reasons" doesn't sound like a disagreeable breakup.  Maybe when the personal reasons clear up the original developer can put it back on his plate.

Maybe you could chat with one of your programmer friends who was thinking of doing an Inty game. :)

Maybe you and Willy could do a joint production as he's already negotiated the rights. You guys should chat. It would be sad if this game never saw the light of day as it's certainly one of the ones Inty fans have been wanting the most and I suspect it would be one of the best selling homebrews ever.

William seems like a nice guy to me, so it would be a pleasure to joint production with Elektronite, if William feel like it would be best
I have to contact him actually, I've been quite busy those past three weeks....

Any SERIOUS talented assembler programmers who are interested may email me at:

gamesforyourintellivision@hotmail.com

If you know of any programmers who might be able to take on the project, please feel free to refer someone to me.

Looks like you DID give it a "thumbs down", it's all good....as noted, it was just an opinion....On another note, I DO love The Walking Dead!

Now there we can agree! The Walking Dead. Best show on Cable TV. Between that and Game of Thrones for best shows!

I have scanned the forums and there is no new public info on DTOC.
