Electro Maniac! English Level Editor

We're playing Electro Maniac! in Round 5 of the HSC, it was runner up in the 2009 abbuc software contest. Nice game but a bit tough, comes with a great level editor which was only available in German... until now!!

I've created a DOS2.5 (1050 enhanced densisty) Turbo BASIC disk, with a menu containing:

1. Level Editor English (AUTORUN.ENG)

2. Level Editor German (AUTORUN.GER)

3. Your Test Game (EMANIAC.EXE)

4. The Original Game (EMORIG.EXE)

 

Electro-Maniac-and-Editor-In-English-And-German-DOS2v5.ATR

 

After making your levels use the Editor's "Level-Linker" to create the EMANIAC.EXE. Looks like this will all fit on the same disk/ATR. Emulator users will need to make the disk R/W to save any changes. The first level (shown above) is one I created to demonstrate the features.

 

If anyone has/does create any new levels - even one or two; please post here and I'll pull a disk together

Seems there are similar bonus levels on both the original levels and game disks between each level

On the new disk (above) I moved level 1 to level 2 and replaced level 1 with my test level.

 

Note: any of the EXE files can be ran from any menu.
