Botbird208
I am not good at all at Kung Fu Master. I'm sure I can do better than this. 41940
CapitanClassic
Just starting, I know I can beat these scores. This game is so different from the NES version (which I could roll multiple times). Why does the 4th boss shoot frik'n lasers? Kung Fu Master - 86,940 Chuck Norris SuperKicks - 170,700 We need some Chuck Norris jokes. karokoenig
Nice choices of games. One is my bane, one is my nemesis :-). Will post something a little later. No real time this weekend to play.

Botbird208
CapitanClassic, are you Capitan Estaban from the Atari 2600 Show on youtube? I'm Frankie Aiello! Your scores here impress me A LOT!

Lauren Tyler
For those who have played Eternal Champions, you'll know I studied Praying Mantis Kung-Fu. This may not be the same, but the principles are generally the same. Now here are some techniques to help you improve your kung-fu skills, from the sifu himself! (OK, so it's really from the guide I wrote awhile back, but who cares?) -It's important to know that punches do more damage than kicks, and earn more points. However, kicking is useful for longer ranged attacks. Keep this in mind. -The first floor and third floor bosses share a similar strategy: Try to kneel out of their range and throw punches. If this doesn't work, try using a hit-and-run tactic, in which you run in, throw a low punch or two, then run back, wait for them to attack, then go in again. -The boomerang thrower is a bit of a toughie. Your best bet is to wait for him to throw his boomerang, then attempt to strike him while he's waiting for it to return. Hit him in the stomach for maximum damage. -The lightning magician has to be the toughest boss in the game. In fact, he should've been the final boss in my opinion, but I digress. You'll need to make sure you have a lot of energy to defeat him. Unfortunately, this is also the level where the killer moths attack. DON'T TRY TO RUSH THROUGH THEM! The damage they do is too severe, and if you do, you won't have enough energy left at the end of the stage. -For the final boss, don't just try to rush in blindly. Instead, watch him carefully, and when the time is right, try to strike with a body blow or a kick.
CapitanClassic
CapitanClassic, are you Capitan Estaban from the Atari 2600 Show on youtube? I'm Frankie Aiello! Your scores here impress me A LOT! Indeed I am. I meant to be CapitanEstaban here as well, but I mistakenly signed up with my current name. At this point I don't know if it would be possible to change my name on these forums, so CapitanClassic it is. Now I wonder if Trevis wanted to take part of HSC making his videos from HSC as the challenge! We're talking about this:

Now I wonder if Trevis wanted to take part of HSC making his videos from HSC as the challenge! Yes, one and the same. I wish he would. Trying to get a high score here, with Travis's Nintendo Challenge and Atari Challenge is becoming too much of an investment (I even considered entering the HSC for the NES here). karokoenig
Getting on the board with little time to play more this week. I can't say I'm very upset about that. Not a big fan of either game. Kung-Fu Master: 42,700. Superkicks: 70,700. By the way. Chuck Norris is a douchebag. Loved his movies in the 80s, though. Cheesy, yet fun. And good action. StanJr
81520 Almost beat my personal best right out of the gate. I have never beaten the spear-chucking guy on the fourth floor. Ever. I have no idea how you avoid those spears. Creams me every time. (Of course it also took me two games to remember how to punch, so maybe I am an idiot.) You people are really good at this game.
