This is the pool to vote the best games ever for Intellivision :-)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

In this pool we introduce 3rd party games!

In the same time we see the first conversions of famous arcade game, so we added a second votation :-)

CBS got several important arcade licenses, but it is commonly considered that they made poor conversions... what you think?

I agree on the conversion games. I voted for the one that sucked the least, kind of like picking who's house is the nicest in a bombed out war zone. Carnival was a terrible game in the arcade, Mouse Trap's music makes me want to shot the TV, and Donkey Kong is... well... bleh.

there will be a new pool for arcades shortly... see if we find better games :-)

I think mouse trap is enjoyable anyway

atlantis seems to be at round 2 already!!

could this game be one of favourite as best game overall? I doubt...

This is going to be lots of fun, thanks for doing this Valter. :) I've voted but I'll weigh in with my thoughts later today as I've got to get to work.

what do you suggest as next pool? I will post one again for sports for sure, and I was thinking about how to show the several card/gamble games (poker etc.) that have not so much appeal even if very well made, maybe they go all togheter

Yah I think the card games with Horse Racing or the board games would make sense. Just keep putting together logical groupings and we'll work our way through this. I think this will be interesting to see which games progress through each round

noone likes the coleco games :-) I wolder if zaxxon will get any vote at all in his pool

While I don't necessarily like playing the Coleco games, I love collecting for them with all the awesome CBS artwork and language variations.

Same with me. Enjoyed (and still enjoy) Stampede a lot but my vote had to go to Atlantis… another Imagic Masterpiece!

Definitely Imagic should be the best 3rd party developer for the Intellivision.

I also enjoyed Carnival and Donkey Kong at the time. I voted for Carnival but I eventually had to spend one bullet to turn off the music.

By the way, the music of Carnival is a waltz known as "Sobre las Olas" (Over the Waves) composed by a Mexican XIX century musician called Juventino Rosas.
