I expect Burgertime to destroy all comers here. My question is which one will be second? Kool Aid Man is awful but it's one I wish I has more copies of. It's hard to find in good shape. Strangely the other 3 second place contenders I'm actually not bad at playing wise.

Ditto. Burger Time is the big boss here and without a doubt the best arcade conversion. I think this conversion is better than the Colecovision and NES one.

Nonetheless, I voted for He-Man (knowing that Burger Time will rightfully win) as the Super Graphics and the fantastic Music are qualitatively different to what has been done before on the Intellivision.

I hope that Mattel would have time to make more Super Graphics games. So far I know the other game of this kind is Thunder Castle another "next gen" gem on the Intellivision.

PS By the way, Carol Vs Ghost seems to be another Super Graphics game. Also its music is fantastic. Cheers.

I thought Frogger was an excellent arcade conversion. Still, Ray Kaestner takes it with Burgertime on both counts as far as I'm concerned.

I think the music cutting off on each sound effect makes it distracting and annoying. :(

Discovering that BurgerTime was a sort of a killer app on the Intv was interesting. As a kid, I was not aware of BT in the arcade or on any home computing platform. Somehow it never made its way into my C64 collection, and it certainly wasn't the type of game I was going to spend $50 on for the NES. I may have played it on Coleco at a friend's house or something, but it was never in the pantheon of arcade classics for me. Lady-bug is similar. I was never aware of the Pac-Man style sub-genre until I got back into classic gaming as an adult. I tend to enjoy Mouse Trap better than Lady Bug when it comes to that little niche.

So I played all of these again except Kool Aid, and I really can't decide. They are all nicely done arcade style hi score fests. Each one has nice sound and music, BT has the little interlude animations, He-Man has some varied gameplay, LBug has some collection and multiplier goals . . .

In the end, I voted for Frogger. It really is an arcade classic for me, and I like the "animations" for the bug and alligator. The music was also well done. I haven't really played it (or any of these) to a very high difficulty, so if one has a bit more longevity, that could make a difference down the line. Even so, I still think that I would be more likely to play a game of Frogger than any of these others on the Inty.
