Keatah
www.applewin.berlios.de/ www.developer.berlios.de/projects/applewin/ http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/berlios.de.html Seems one of the better Apple II emulators will need to find a new home. For the past few days the sites have been unreachable. Best of luck to the team! Edited May 18, 2014 by Keatah
Osgeld
http://sourceforge.net/projects/applewin.berlios/ the berlios page has been pretty much out of date and abandoned for a number of years, sourceforge hosts all the files anyway
+nanochess
Yep. Years since berlios.de ceased to work I really liked how light-weight it was. Sourceforge has been always clunky and slow.
Trebor
Sourceforge has been always clunky and slow. Cuts to the chase, somewhat: http://sourceforge.net/projects/applewin.berlios/files/
Keatah
Years? Berlios.de was active a week ago. It would be nice to see Applewin remain active because there are some issues in the GUI, for starters.
Keatah
Berlios is back up! And so is the applewin section and homepage. http://developer.berlios.de/projects/applewin/ http://applewin.berlios.de/ ..now all we need is an update to Applewin.. Osgeld
I usually drag behind, the version I am running is 1.19 that someone modded to give more realistic tv emulation, at the time I was doing a lot of high rez and dhgr image fiddling and wanted to see the artifacts more realistically though I have no idea where I got it, that was almost 2 years ago heh, course now its less needed as I have the apple II hooked to a 13 inch HDTV (80 column support + color) not to go off topic but for my retro puters (and games) this little 13 inch craig tv I gave 50 bucks for is actually really nice, has just about every known input connectors (for a TV) different aspect ratio's (3 fixed, 16:9, 4:3 and stretched "waterglass" which only stretches width and does a really good job of it) and a press of the button I can go from "as bad as a nice CRT monitor" to crystal clear 80 column. Being small and only 720p any lag, even in video games would require automated equipment to notice, so if you dont want a (or like me another) 30 something year old monitor its actually a really good unit, for being a cheap chunk of crap lol /pitch over Edited May 24, 2014 by Osgeld
