silverfox0786
Hi does anyone know where I can get compatible 15uH inductors for the 2600 The ones that are on the switch board above the RF Unit I brought some Axial type ones but they don't seem to work if anyone has a pair space that would also be great or even a complete switch board 6 Switcher btw

chas10e
The Atari field service manual schematic (pg 21) shows it as a 15mH parts list (pg 139) shows it as a 15uH c010820 Best electronic catologe (page 211) shows c010820 as a 15mH choke I don't know all the difference between them but hope it helps
STuck
Well, one's microHenries and the other's milliHenries so if you get it wrong you're an order of magnitude out. What are they, RF chokes or something?
silverfox0786
I found the right ones 15uH RF Axial Choke Inductors (Brown,Green,Black) Apparently you can also use a Ferrite bead but the service manual does not detail correctly the value to use The switch board is now repaired Edited May 20, 2014 by silverfox0786
HeavySixerRF254
Hey Silver Fox, I traced the same issue with a heavy sixer I salvaged...I thought at first it was the RF modulator, but then noticed the power wasn't even right going to it. I then seen the defective L101 after I bumped it....The console would kick on with a little pressure to it from the side. No cold solder joints...I am going to order Delevan API 1025-48 Fixed axial inductor 15uh for replacement... What did you find to replace it with ??? Here is a doc that I found on this forum that shows what other parts you can use... Thanks for sharing !!
