vectrexroli
The "MBX" system/expansion was quite innovative back in 1983 as it even supported voice recognition. Here I show you that system in action. http://youtu.be/QmyzeQOigyk
Ransom
Nice! That's a great little bit of videogaming history you have there. Nice video, too, as always.
vectrexroli
Nice! That's a great little bit of videogaming history you have there. Nice video, too, as always. I always wanted to get a MBX to see it in action. It is one of those things there is just no way I would ever find that here in my country. accousticguitar
Cool, I never heard of the MBX before. It was kind of hard to understand what you were saying with the loud background music.

vectrexroli
Nice video Roli, my personal favourite MBX game is Bigfoot, hope you have that in your next Ebay parcel!!!! P.S-ever considered becoming governor of California? I got Bigfoot before I got the MBX system. This game is pretty fun even without the MBX features. I tried to play the Baseball game but obviously I was too stupid to understand what is going on without reading the instructions. I hope I will have time soon to test some of the other games. I guess for the job as the governor I would need more muscles.
am1933
Don't be too hard on yourself about not understanding baseball, I don't really understand some of these minority sports either!!! Stands back and waits for the storm of angry protests from U.S users I remember we tried Baseball even once in school back then, of course without proper equipment and it was fun, but I cannot remember the details any more and I am not sure if we even played it the right way.

Seob
As usual a great video. Can't believe you put videogames on the first place. I would have put the system away for later and first work on you're relationship.
vectrexroli
As usual a great video. Can't believe you put videogames on the first place. I would have put the system away for later and first work on you're relationship. She simply knows that boxed games with manuals might spice up the situation... No just kidding of course, in real life my wife my wife is much more important than video games and I have to write that now as I never can be sure if Mrs. VectrexRoli will find this text here one day by using Google.

awhite2600
That´s interesting, I didn´t know about the "LipStik Plus". Did it work well? My memory from back in the day is a bit fuzzy. I think a friend of mine had a "LipStick Plus". I recall that it was little more than a voice activated fire button. You would play a game and yell, "Fire" to shoot. You could have yelled "Pizza" or "A**h**l" and it would still shoot. I think he even had a pirated version of one of the voice games that was hacked to use a regular joystick.
