Fell welcome share Any experience, about init the SGM, the RAM etc The only way to detect the SMG is to write to the AY chip and read back the values to be sure the AY chip is present right? The best method to check for SGM and being compatible with ADAM, is to check if memory at $6000-$7fff is repeated each 1K, if it is repeated then activate SGM memory, and check again if the 1K repetition has disappeared. I've used it for the SGM test program. There were threads posted about the issues with Defender and Super Cobra as well as Nanochess' fix and then the resulting good rom image.
