Say, NSG...I know you and i have briefly talked about this before, but...you and I have both found that a direct video capture of Atari games yields dim results that need brightening up in post...but...have you tried routing your Atari through a VCR first and then route the VCR into the video cap?? Wondering if that could solve the problem...

I have not, but my guess is it wouldn't help, although I'd be tempted to try it.

So far I have tried two ways (1) DVD Recorder (2) HDD Recorder.

Both ways come out dark.

Other systems I recorded don't have this problem, making me think this is an Atari 2600/7800 issue.
