Gameboy Player Question About Game Not Working?

Can anyone confirm if this does or doesn't work in the Gamecube Gameboy Player? Mine doesn't. I've checked and I have a legit game, not fake. Thanks for any help!

Try loading the game and just the Gameboy logo appears, not the Nintendo underneath and the game won't load up. Checked around about fakes and I believe it's a real copy of the game not a fake according to what I read. Also tried it in my GBA SP, DS Phat, and DS Lite and it works fine.

But what game are you talking about? or it's a special clonic console? I'm not sure to understand what's going on.

If the Nintendo logo does not show or shows up corrupt , there's a 99% chance your game is dirty. Here at our classic game store we open up every game cart we sell and use cleaner and manually clean the cart. Qtips and 91% rubbing alcohol only work some times and quite often you need to open up that cart.

I would say your game is dirty.

Try rubbing cardboard on the contacts. Sounds silly, but it's a good way to clean any cart contact.

Maybe a stupid question, but did you put in the gb player boot disk into the gamecube. Without it the gb player won't work.

Sorry for all the confusion on this. It was the GBA Castlevania legit Double Pack. Turned out the player was dirty and needed a good cleaning. Thanks to all that responded and again sorry.
