+Larry
I was recently looking at Dos XL (for the Turbo Basic/Dos XL thread) and ran across a series of 1-screen ramdisk documentation files on one of the disks. Unfortunately they are for either Axlon or Mosaic ramdisks for the 800. Bill W. did publish some info info in one or more INSIGHT columns about using the ram under a Super Cartridge and under the OS to gain some user ram, but I don't remember any XE-compatible ramdisk ever being made available for Dos XL. Is anyone aware of one? It seems odd since OSS did Dos 2.5 that they would not have transferred that feature to Dos XL at some point. (?) Anyone? -Larry
+Larry
I did think of one -- the D4: or D9: ramdisk of the Ultra Speed Plus OS from CSS. Admittedly a ramdisk is a bit less useful on a command line dos. -Larry
