Road Redemption alpha access

This game is seriously awesome. Not without its faults, but since it's still in alpha stage, I'm forgiving. Even if nothing gameplay-wise is altered, I'm still very happy with it. It really reminds me of that old school feel, the kind you get from Crazy Taxi or even Twisted Metal, with a good, solid core of Road Rash within. Playing it gives you a rush, something you don't get from slow games like Civ 5 or Skyrim or even many of these modern FPS's. These are the kind of modern games I wish developers would make.

Anyone else kickstart it/plan on buying it?

Yup I'm getting it but I'm waiting for the full release. I think the guy who did the original Road Rash is behind this but I'm not sure.

 

Been waiting a long time for another Road Rash or something inspired by it! Can't wait for this.

I kinda wanted to buy it for quite a while but had a bad feeling I wouldn't like it because I've never really liked motorcycle games. Once I saw it on Steam Early Access I went ahead and got it since it was only $18. It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I was up to level 3 before I deleted it from my system. It's got bugs but they're not really game breaking and I only deleted it because I didn't want to get burnt out on the game before it's real release. I've got a couple of other early access games I'm doing the same thing on.
