AtariAgeUser
I want to make a recording of an Atari 800 game, running on the Atari800WinPlus emulator, but I'm having trouble doing it successfully. Can someone please direct me to a FAQ on how to do this? Thanks a lot. Basically, if I try to make a recording, what happens is that when I go to play back the recording, I find that after about a minute of watching the recording, the gameplay footage suddenly speeds up, and this in turn makes the recorded audio go out of sync with the video playback. When I make a recording, I choose the "save video with sound" option from the main View pull down menu. Then, when it asks me what kind of compression to use for the recording, I select Microsoft Video 1, with a quality rate of about 55. Would anyone recommend that I try other settings? I've tried Full Frames, but that seems to make the video recording appear in black and white when I play it. Thanks a lot for any advice, it would be appreciated. AtariAgeUser
OK, perhaps I need to change my question... Can anyone recommend any other emulator that has a working video recording mode? Thanks a lot.
