Metal Jesus
One of adventure gaming’s most stunning masterpieces re-imagined in HD with new puzzles and locations, yet keeping that classic Jane Jensen story. TheBigJB reviews the game from a ex-Sierra employees perspective. Have you played any of the Gabriel Knight games before?
Albert
Kick ass! I played nearly all the old Sierra games. I still have that same box you do, but it's not sealed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! ..Al PS: I need that Citadel poster you have on the wall! PPS: I do have that Babylon 5 poster! It's a shame that game was never finished.. SoulBlazer
I had no idea this was coming out -- was it Kickstarted? In any event, it just suddenly showed on GOG for pre-order about a month ago, with the release date of October 15. Being a big fan of the series, I played and loved all three of them back in the day, I bought it right away. I haven't had a chance to spend more then a few minutes on it, between how busy I am right now and playing Wasteland 2, but it seems VERY nice. The hand drawn graphics are just georgeous, and the 'behind the scenes' you can look at for each screen is really nice. They also include the comic that was included in the box as something you can look at from the game menu. I do wish they could have kept the original voice acting (top notch people behind that one!) but the new voices seem good. The GK games are also a great example of the three major styles of PC games over the years -- the first one was done in the classic 2D mouse driven interface, the second was a FMV game, and the third was a 3D game with a more modern interface. HammR25
I had no idea this was coming out -- was it Kickstarted? Yes and No. It was part of a Jane Jensen Kickstarter campaign in May of 2012 but it was only called "Mystery Game X" at the time. They finally announced Mystery Game X was going to be Gabriel Knight 1 about a year ago. If you weren't a backer it was probably easy to miss.
Colecovision
I'm really enjoying this. Nice to see a new coat of paint on this classic.
