Bartsfam
I had a picture of my Montezuma's Revenge cart in a different forum, and AtariBrian pointed out to me that the cart was different then the usual Montezuma's Revenge cart. So, I compared my loose cart, with my boxed version, and they are different. Anyone, (NIAD), know why the difference? Is it because the one piece box vs. the two piece Parker Bros. box had different cartridges?
Tempest
Weird. That's a PB label on an Activision cart shell.

+nanochess
It looks like a built cartridge. My idea: someone cracked accidentally the case of the original cartridge, took out the PCB, put it inside an Activision shell and printed a label (the label looks pixelated for me) Not very fond of the idea that the PCB could be a pirate one. Settled by NIAD: it's a Telegames reproduction
NIAD
The one pictured on the left is the real Parker Brothers cartridge with beige background label. I think I saw a silver background label version recently just like Q*bert has two versions, but I didn't save the picture for proof unfortunately. The cartridge on the right is a reproduction that I'm pretty sure was made by Telegames. They loved to use the Activision cart shell and on some of there reproductions, they went the extra mile with a better quality label like this one. It's possible that it was made by CBS Electronics also, but seeing as your cart uses the Activision cart shell, I'm leaning towards Telegames. Here are pics of the CBS reproduction and I'm feverishly working on cleaning up my digital collection of files that will go hand in hand with my CV&ADAM Collectors List to hopefully put an end to a lot of confusion over these reproductions.

Bartsfam
Thanks Jim! I think I bought it as the "real" thing on EBay about 5 years ago. I think I paid around $26 to $30 at the time.
