This xmas was an especially good one, as the last 6 months we didn't know if Dad would still be here. He had 4 pretty bad strokes back in mid June, and when he was getting checked out for those, they discovered 4th stage cancer in his neck. The cancer seems to be in remission now, after a terrible to witness 35 radiation treatments and 7 chemos. Hopefully he'll be starting physical therapy again in the new year, and will regain some ability to walk. But, he had a lot of fun today, and he's back to eating food again after being fed liquid through his stomach for the past 4 months so things are looking up.
