Stun Runner 87
Is the price of 250 dollars a fair price on this link? ? http://classicjoysticks.com/ Beautiful controller.
BalloonFighter
The website appears to be run by AtariAge user UberArcade, who has been making these joysticks and selling them here. Didn't know he had a website, thanks for sharing! As for price, he uses quality arcade parts that don't come cheap and puts each joystick together by hand, so I think that the $225 price tag is understandable because of that. I personally don't own one because it's out of my price range, but others have purchased them and seem to be very happy with their choice. AtariBrian
I am surprised you never came across the sales thread on here for those controllers .
Trebor
See this thread. It's the Cadillac of joysticks for the 7800. Some people would never buy a Cadillac. Others will tell you there's no comparison/compromise. The majority probably falls somewhere in-between. Much depends on your perspective and circumstance.
NIKON
Just had this thought...What if the controller and the system were one in the same? How cool would that be? I am only saying this because that joystick looks AWESOME!!
Dauber
Now if only there were one for the 5200.

Stun Runner 87
I am surprised you never came across the sales thread on here for those controllers . I did actually, but I missed buying then....I accidently ran into the site where they are for sale. They are the best looking controllers for the 7800 I've ever seen. I'm very interested and am considering buying 1... ?
Stun Runner 87
Its 225 shipping included.. I think I paid 250 to Canada.Does it have a realistic arcade feel when playing games like Galaga or Astro Blaster? The Arcade sticks really do look like superior quality....... I want, I need. I will have....its my destiny..... No offense to the Aladin seagals, but these look better by far..... They look Atari official. Jinks
Uber came on the forum first and I promised to buy so I did. It does feel very arcade like as it has all arcade parts inside. And not a plastic but metal housing. For space shooters I would say its the superior choice of all. Remember you can choose left or right hand directionals((this was a hard time for me to decide as I go both ways(with video game controllers)but I went with stick on the left)) Someday I have to buy one of those seagulls. They seem to be all the rage as well..
Andromeda Stardust
They are beautiful. A bit rich for my blood, as I'm a DIYer. Just curious, what type of material are they? Wood? Plastic? Metal? Anywho, here's two hulking Atari controllers I made: Ambidextrous 2600 joystick: I later added a set of paddles to it: My 7800 joystick: The latter one is freakking heavy. I made it out of 3/4" MDF, which apparently weighs in a lot more than the 1/2" plywood I used for the first one.
