Silverfleet
I actually sorta scored at a yard sale yesterday! Got all of these for $10. They are all common games, but I didn't have any of them. I'm excited to play the two Halo titles, and Call of Duty 3, which I've heard is the last really good WWII-based one before they started mass producing and milking the franchise for all it's worth. Battlefield I could really care less about, and Watchdogs looks sorta interesting. All of the games were complete with the download cards and everything (that appear to be unused!), save for CoD3.

Keatah
If I bought it yesterday, does it still count? If so then I got 2 additional Apple 3.5 drives for my archiving project.

Yakumo1975
Recently bought an Everdrive for the Super Famicom. Thought it came with the DSP chip included but I guess not. Oh well, no big loss as there aren't any DSP chip games I want to play which I don't own anyway.

evilevoix
Some decent finds over the past couple of weeks. The Shooter for the Game Gear is decent. Not bad for $1. Same with the loose common NES game which I didn't have. This has to be my 5th Neo Geo CD I've owned. I keep buying and then selling them for other stuff as my AES & MVS take priority and to be honest any game over 100MEGS is torture in terms of loading. If you want to punish a gamer have them play OF 99 on it. That said I've noticed to pricing on these things going way up in value and they are good to have for the burned game aspect. I got a buddy in japan who gets these things on the cheap and a decent shipping rate as well (Not that $100 shipping from Japan BS, who is paying that?) If you can get the CDZ which is on par with a PS1 in terms of loading. The 3DO came from the same friend and has the Japanese Bios to play Japanese games. Although 3DO's do not have region lockout they do need specific bios to play certain Japanese games so enter this 3DO.Speaking of 3DO.Road Rash is amazing. Loving every second of it. Captain Quazar is meh. SSF2T is amazing and VERY hard.Came with all the books. Edited November 7, 2016 by evilevoix
Silverfleet
Cool, another Goldstar 3DO owner! Great find, by the way. This reminds me that I should dig mine out and hook it up.

One is a kids game the other might make kids. Cool find though I like the box.

evilevoix
Been a good week, got a couple of things I've wanted to add and fix.First up is a Boxed Nintendo Power Set. Pretty much complete, the NES itself is gamer condition and will need new pins BUT the Power pad is brand new, never used. Glad I have a boxed NES now.I've been looking for a new 25" Arcade monitor for my Neo Geo MVS cab as mine has a build date from Jan 19th 1992 and really needed a cap kit because it would take a while to warm up and get fully bright, had a frozen width coil and the screen was too wide, and recently had complete horizontal collapse. I've have been searching for a while and even took my old one apart to ship out the board to a guy in Wisconsin and wait 3 to 6 months for a turn around when some guy literally 1 mile from my house had a 25" Wells Gardner from a Big Buck Machine with a build date of 2000. Completely different animal over my old Kortek unit, simply much more modern and the price was stupid low. You can control the width via the board up front and not the old Width coil method so you have complete control over the screen size and colors, everything. I have the brightness turned all the way down up front and on the transformer in the back meaning it has years left in it. I'm thrilled it was barely used and should last a LONG time.Installed!!!!The guy turns out to be an old arcade supplier and has a huge storage facility with tons of old Arcade stuff. He has a ton of MVS carts too which I plan on picking up shortly.

Silverfleet
On Cyber Monday, I noticed that Target was having a "15% off everything in the entire store" deal, and I have a Target Red card, which gives me another 5% off, so I decided to go there and check out the current gen consoles. I wanted to get a Xbox One S or a PS4, with a lean toward the XB1. They were out of S's, but they had one older 500GB XB1 Gears of War Ultimate Edition bundle, and the guy said it was actually on clearance for $199. Then, he showed me a shelf of marked down clearance games, and that sealed the deal: I chose the XB1. Walked out with all of this for just under $200 with tax included. BONUS: After seeing all the people raving about the Atari Flashback Portable, I walked into Bed Bath and Beyond and snagged one with the requisite 20% off coupon. So far, I'm impressed with it almost as much as the XB1! Love it.

evilevoix
Some Nice Neo Geo pickups over last weekend.First is the Neo Geo Pocket. Never had one, found one in the box for $30 with one game. Plays great and controls amazing, basically the same as a Neo Geo CD Pad. Nice little system.Next up I'm super proud of. A Neo Geo CDZ, and not just an CDZ but my old one. I sold it years ago with about 30 games for god knows why. I found the old email from the Craigslist add I sold it to back in 2010 and contacted the guy and he sold it back to me at a fraction of what I sold it to him for. This is the very same CDZ that Classic Game Room borrowed from me to review as well as my MAS Arcade stick and some CD games.link:

Was the guy just really looking to get rid if it or has CDZ stuff diminished in value since then?
