But nowaday thanks to internet if you really want you can. you find MSX computer for the most commun ones at around 20-40 USD , game between 5 and 50 usd. even if you add shipping cost and power adaptator if you need ... i think at the end if will be less expensive than buy all SGM Games and you will have even lot of more choice. i own lot of machine never sold in my country , that i bought around the world thanks to the net. That's what makes collecting SO great, isn't it?! It seems everyone has their own, personal reason or niche. Some folks just like to play the games and don't care how; they're fine with an emulator and a PC. Others like the original console and a handful of used, loose carts will suffice. Then there's those who want the full monty -box, instructions, game, etc. And then there's the SuperCollectors, who want a sealed copy of every variant ever produced and maybe another loose cart just to play. If something new about the Idea of a new CV2 PCB from Eduardo shows up, will I update the CV2 site. Remember all in the CV2 article is only suggestions, and only what Eduardo would like to see an upcoming CV2. I have relayed the article because I support the idea, as I know many others also do. Well, the thing about homebrew hardware is that once someone has done it, there isn't much incentive for other poeple to reinvent the wheel. Aside from 5-11under and his replacement motherboard project, other people have already made working FPGA implementations of the ColecoVision, such as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-f0Vl_obcL8 There's a huge leap between making hobby hardware that works and manufacturing many copies of this hardware for retrogaming fans. Most people aren't interested in a large barebones PCB, they want a plastic casing with a proper cartridge slot and connectors for joysticks, and then there's the issue of the joystick themselves and where to procure them.
