I played this game the other day and I'm liking it. I discovered that not every game plays the same. My personal best is 16K.

 

Anyone know what the intro music is to this game?

 

Also, how did they get away with using the Star Wars theme when you get to Saturn?

I...don't care for it myself. I don't have the visceral hatred of it that Mike and Carrington on No Quarter have, but I don't care for it.

Kind of a good question, I guess, since Vanguard originally ran with the opening bars of the Star Trek: TMP theme and managed to get caught. You'd have thought that Lucas and Co. would have seen that.

Yeah, I gave this game a whirl after listening to the No Quarter review. I tend to agree with the hosts. I can see how the game might have been serviceable at the time, but playing it now out of context, I think it's pretty terrible. If you like this sort of game, and you have a MAME rig, there are dozens of other titles that do the same thing, only better.

Yes, a great game and it's from SNK. The music played is the official french national anthem. I happen to have the PCB for this game and I played it quite a lot in the 80s.
