RobertB
Six months and counting... it's time for another Commodore Vegas Expo, hosted by the Fresno Commodore User Group and the Clark County Commodore Computer Club of Las Vegas! It's the eleventh CommVEx, and once again we're bringing all kinds of Commodore 8-bit and Amiga goodness to the Plaza Hotel & Casino, 1 Main Street in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Enjoy and use the various computers that we'll have -- Commodore PET, VIC-20, C64, Plus/4, C128, B128, classic Amigas, and new AmigaOnes. Enjoy and converse with Commodore/Amiga veterans and newbies. Enjoy looking at and buying various Commodore and Amiga items - new and old. Enjoy and listen to the presentations given by Commodorians and Amigans. We start on Friday, July 17, unofficially when everybody starts setting up. We go late into the night on Saturday/early Sunday morning. We play, we talk, we snack, we listen, we chow down, we program throughout the weekend. Join us! For the latest information, visit the CommVEx forum at http://www.commodore.ca/forum/viewforum.php?f=6&sid=69f15eff1cb27fcad05bd773bdd8d53c The official webpages are up and running! Go to http://www.portcommodore.com/commvex Check the forum and the webpages often, as presentations, exhibits, guests, and raffle/door prizes get updated as CommVEx nears. mozartpc27
Man I wish I could attend this. With a baby on the way, I don't think my wife will let me... would be a hell of a birthday present (I was born in late August)!
RobertB
When is the baby due? Trying to think of a way you can attend, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group http://www.dickestel.com/fcug.htm
mozartpc27
Memorial Day weekend. Long enough before the event that I *could* attend in that my wife should be recovered enough by then, but then of course there is the question of the cost of a flight and hotel in Las Vegas for a solo trip that interests only me... Maybe if I get that new job. Maybe.
RobertB
Less than 2 weeks until the show and excitement is building! Gather your gear, finish your programming, and get on over to Las Vegas! CommVEx awaits with the best group of computing friends coming from California, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, the East Coast, and farther! Plan for an intense 2-day experience... 3 days if you include Friday set=up. Don't forget the show's special guests -- CBM engineer Bil Herd, CBM insider Leonard Tramiel, and C= and Amiga developer Jim Drew. Don't forget the show's presentations and hands-on exhibits.
