Cartridges would have had the red-style backgrounds (like all later TI game cartridges, including Crossfire--even though our Crossfire label is very different). I'm not sure what kind of font they would have used though, as those varied wildly from cartridge to cartridge. Here's a link to what seems to be the lettering style used by all of the other systems I've seen with E.T. though. Note that some used solid letters and others used the hollow style shown here. On the Thorn-EMI labels, I suspect yours are actually much closer to the originals would have been than the one on the MicroPal release of Computer War.
