Nice trick, o Insane One! Utilizing that one with disks setup for other programs would allow a lot of little files to be saved and utilized on a single floppy without a DSR change. . .just do the directory swap to change subdirectories to the one you need and press on until you need to change it again. . .

Your comment reminded me that I had modified John Birdwell's DSKU to recognize and manage the directories. That code was tucked away with the backup disks I had been given of John's hard drive. Sadly, those disks were taken (stolen, as best I can tell) from me at one of the TI Faires :( I wonder if one of my platter backups has the program executables. I'll poke around this weekend.

Oh no, that's shocking. When did this happen?

InsaneMultitasker...

That is the absolute shits about your disks! If you do find the files on one of your platters, I for one would be interested in the enhanced DSKU.

BTW - Your SWAPDIR is awesome!!!! I am already using it to put various games on one disk. Using your fine software I now have a 3 1/2 floppy that contains Legends I, Legends II and Old Dark Caves. Thank You!!!!

If I find it, I'll post it on AA

Be careful to keep original files for your games. I can't say the swapdir program has been thoroughly tested given how long ago I wrote it, although I do not anticipate any problems. ;) Glad you found a use for it.
