another question about 8-bit cartridges (ROMS)

I'm mostly interested in games, but anything will do (as long as it is complete). I managed to find a nice little list of all carts released for the 8-bit.

 

But when I look thru the collections I have, or downloaded from the internet. All I find is a few games (maybe pacman, galaxian, XE Games, etc) but mostly OS/programming related carts (spartados, basic, etc). All of these are supposedly TOSEC collections.

 

Am I missing something here? I want to find them in cart form useable by Atari800win. I know most can be found in "disk form", but the completest in me would like them in cart format. I want to archive them that way as well as cart/box pics etc. Kinda like what I'm currently doing with the other atari systems (2600, 5200, 7800, etc).

 

I'm not sure where to look. Can't wait till the atariage 8-bit section gets put up! It's really cool reading all this stuff that I didn't know about the Atari. It always seems I went on my merry way when some of the more interesting things happened with some systems.

 

I dumped the 2600 and skipped the 5200 for my 48k Atari 400. Just when some of the cooler titles started coming out. Moved from my atari 8-bits to the Amiga. Luckily I caught most of the cool stuff towards the end of the 8-bits life, but still missed out on alot of historical stuff going on. The information behind some of the blunders atari made.

 

Completely skipped out on the NES. No loss?? But I did manage to experience the SNES, so on so forth. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

As ugly as I think the 8-bit game boxes where. I still hope to collect pictures of them, and the cartridges/manuals to match.

I actually dug up my old backups from when I ran a BBS on a pc. It was called "Scrubb Acres". The files were on 5 1/4" IBM formatted diskettes. Now I just need to find a computer that has a 5 1/4" drive. lol.

 

Hopefully I can find my lode runner and Mr. robot self made levels on those discs. Hopefully those disks were not created with some old outdated backup program that I no longer have anymore.

 

Funny thing is when I dug out my old classic system box I found some 8-bit cartridges in there that I didn't even know I had. Musta got them from my cousin when he got rid of his 130xe.

 

They were pac-man, space invaders, congo bongo, basic xl, frogger II:threedeep, popeye, and a couple others.
