mickcris Posted October 21, 2016 Author Share Posted October 21, 2016 since the board is very low profile now with the tantalum caps, i started using a new install location on the duo.http://imgur.com/a/DazFGthere is still plenty of clearance between the rgb amp and the bottom shielding. i put some kapton tape under the amp just in case it would happen to fall, which is highly unlikely. I would not recommend using a genesis scart cable as they "should" have caps and resistors in the cable already and they are already present on this board. also a lot of them are not built correctly so you dont know what you are getting. I'd like to use an 8-pin and match the pinout to the Framemeister input, so I can use that with my existing cables (and since you didn't recommend using the Genesis SCART cable). mickcris Posted March 2, 2017 Author Share Posted March 2, 2017 have replaced the sync strip scart cable with a small add on board to be installed in the console. It could also be installed in the scart head if you really wanted to, but better to do it inside the console.
