Smoke Monster Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 I'd like to open up an Atari XE light gun to clean it out. I've found two screws on the handle and two under the "Atari XE System" sticker, and one more on the front sight. It won't open easily though, and I'm wondering if the barrel is glued together on the front. Is it safe to force it apart? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
+GoldenWheels Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I've opened mine (keep in mind it was already broken so I don't know if anything I did made it worse) and the lens at the front kind of acts like a bridge between the halves, and mine was in there pretty tight.
