Rick Dangerous
What do you think is the best use of a Wii mote in a Wii or Wii U game? I thought it was awesome in No More Heroes when you get a call on your cell phone you have to pick up the wii mote like its a phone and listen to the person talking to you through the speaker. That was ingenious! What's your personal favorite that you thought worked or was clever?
Cobra Kai
Personally I like the arcade rail shooters with it. The Gunblade NY, L.A. Machine Guns pack is great value. Also that House of the Dead 2&3 pack is nice. I hated the waggle from the get go, so those are the only Wii games I have at the moment.
omegadot
I hate the thing unless it's house of the dead or bowling. Other than that it can go. That hold over the only thing I dislike about my Wii U.
RJ
Hmmm the 1st thing that came to mind was the WiiWare game LIT by WayForward, where you answer the phone at certain times & your g/f talks to you thru the Wiimote. Just like the OP said, about a different game.
Amstari
Wario Ware Smooth Moves had lots of crazy uses for the Wiimote. Also I like the sword fighting in Legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword. You need to have Motion Plus. I had to stand up sometime to fight the bosses and take a break after the fight.
Nutsy Doodleheimer
Wiisports and Warioware smooth moves is the best use for me. I personally don't like the nunchuk. Too awkward holding a remote and using that while playing. It doesn't scream fun for me.
Gamemoose
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories probably had some of the best "non-gimmicky" uses for the Wiimote. Flashlight, needing to roll the wheels on a wheelchair, object moving for puzzles....gotta get back to playing that game.
sasha_darko
Silent Hill, Calling and... Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. They got the right physics there, so it feels more like you're playing with the real arcade machine (well, at least it people who played both say that it's more than close enough to arcade experience). cimerians
No More Heroes or Silent Hill....hmm I can't remember much since I haven't fire up the Wii in a while but those two I definitely remember.
DracIsBack
I recently got Resident Evil 4 Wii. Played it a million times on GameCube but I now prefer it on the Wii. The stupid button mashing parts are easier and aiming is much more fun with the remote IMO
