cobra429
I had this cartridge since my parents friends gave their games to me back in 1988. I don't know of anyone that has this particular cartridge and wondered what it's worth and how rare it is
cobra429
And why does it show no.007 and 008? Almost like there were other games made before these but i can't find any records on that being true
fiddlepaddle
It's more rare than the individual carts, which go for $100+ each complete.
Albert
It's not rare as it's a reproduction cart that was not manufactured by Wizard and more can be produced at any time. ..Al
roadrunner
A lot of dust on the OP's cart.
AtariBrian
So why some story about 1988 . Weren't these reproductions made a couple of years ago .
CPUWIZ
I am so glad people have so much fun with the label I made so long ago (I think 2002). This cart most likely doesn't even have Wizard games on it, the circuit board shown is not one of mine and looks a lot like a real XONOX blob style board. fiddlepaddle
Oops, my fault!
Zwackery
Oh yeah, CPUWIZ not only made the label in 2002, but to add to the confusion of maybe-not-Wizard games in a Xonox case he then sent the whole hot mess through a wormhole back to 1988. Toodles!
CPUWIZ
You know, this is not the first time someone claimed to have obtained one of these before I came up with the idea, made the label and box and sold a few. KMD to this day claims the same thing. He even took his apart and I pointed out that I personally designed the circuit boards inside his cart. That just created some strange thought process about dates on EPROM's, which I still do not understand. I think if you decipher the ramblings in one way, it could be that I could not have used an old EPROM in 2002, which is strange, because those EPROM's have not been manufactured in a long time and all you can use is old ones. LOL I have some EPROM's sitting around from the 70's, I wonder what would happen if I use them? Another wormhole?
cobra429
to all viewers on this thread, some f*cking a**hole hacked my account and changed all my info on it. i dont know who it was but i will find you. even i can tell its a fake since the top sticker is faded and using a used xonox cartridge even the novice can tell its not a real game from back in the day. i have several "real" prototypes like quadrun and sinistar for the 2600 and others that i brought to a small gathering in jamaica plain massachusetts around 7 years ago and possibly some of you may have seen me there with a bag with all my prototypes including a reproduction dukes of hazzard. any of you that were there for that game and beer fest know that im legit unlike whoever broke in my account here! someone that bought that game thinks they can make money on it to sell it as a fake and too ashamed to use their name instead because they knew everyone would slam them on here. sorry for the confusion but it wasnt me that posted this thread and should be closed as such. mark
CPUWIZ
Interesting, it was someone close to you in MA, using Verizon FIOS. Maybe that will give you a clue as to who it was.
cobra429
How do you figure they were using verizon?
AtariLeaf
Probably the same way they know when banned users try to make alt accounts.
