+Random Terrain
is there a way of creating full color screens with bb? With batari Basic, if you want the highest resolution screens with the most colors, you have to use the DPC+ kernel. Each row can have a foreground color and a background color. xxx
yes, but ive tried that. if u have more than 2 sprites (up to 10), 8 x 255 pixels tall, they flicker ridiculously.

Something like The Titlescreen Kernel?

Papa
You can use a different set of colors per sprite and then stack them, although this may generate flicker. This is done in several games to make multicolored sprites.

+Random Terrain
If you open VbB and click on View, then select Graphics Converter, you can play with that and see what you can do with it.

+Random Terrain
i have, already. it has too many limitations. Then you might need to switch to assembly language.
+SpiceWare
something like this. 192x160 approx resolution, with 128 shades per line and each line 8 pixels wide. You're not going to get something like that displayed using bB. Even with assembly that'd be extremely challenging to do, plus it would still require the use of flicker as the 2600's hardware wasn't designed to display images like that.
